Change rooms

Both the men's and ladies change rooms are fitted with lockers on the pool deck for the convenience of our clients. All lockers are key activated; keys can be hired by payment of a $10 refundable deposit at reception. Any belongings left in lockers overnight will be removed and placed in lost property. You will need to bring your own toiletries and hairdryers etc, however power points are provided in change rooms for hairdryer use. Please do not bring valuables into the facility; TRAC will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Supervision of children

TRAC welcomes children to use the facility in an appropriate manner and encourages family participation to assist in improving quality of life and to promote active children. However, attention must always be given when children are in the presence of water. TRAC indoor and outdoor pools are easily accessible, as it is a requirement of the law that doors remain unlocked for use as emergency exits.

For this reason TRAC has a very strict "Supervision of Children" policy that states, "all children under the age of 10 years MUST be fully supervised by a responsible adult at all times".

For the safety and welfare of all children and clients utilizing TRAC, children are not permitted in any area unless they are participating in a TRAC activity and appropriate supervision (as deemed fit by staff) is occurring. It is recommended that parents/care givers find alternative care arrangements whilst they are participating in Centre activities. Unsupervised children may be be asked to leave the facility.

Safety and emergency evacuation

Please take note of the TRAC evacuation plans which are displayed in prominent areas throughout the Centre. Our fire/evacuation systems is a siren sound as opposed to a bell alarm and regular evacuation drills will occur throughout the year. We thank you for your understanding during these important procedures.

Mobile phones and Cameras

As a courtesy to other clients and visitors and in the interests of safety, we ask that you do not take your mobile phone with you into the pool or change room area. Photographic devices are not permitted in any of the TRAC change rooms.

Lost property

Any lost property that has been handed in or found by staff members can be collected at reception during our hours of operation. Lost property will be kept until the end of every school term at which time it will be disposed of. It is requested that valuables not be brought onto the premises. TRAC takes no responsibility for lost items and belongings. We recommend that all items be clearly named.
